Sometimes, regardless of how much you like a particular woman, she just isn’t going to be into you. Rather than trying to convince her that you’re the right guy for her, you’re better off finding someone else to lavish your attentions upon. Here are five signs that she’s just not feeling you:
1) She seems distant in conversation. When a woman really likes a guy, she’ll hang off his every word. If she’s not all that involved in the conversation, or she makes an excuse to end it before you do, then you can be pretty sure she’s not that into you.
2) She says she’ll be somewhere, then isn’t. This shows that she’s not desperate to spend time with you, because if she was then she’d be there when she said she was going to be. There’s a possibility that she’s just a flake, but when a woman wants a guy, she does all she can to spend time with him.
3) She doesn’t laugh at your jokes. It’s a well-known fact that women don’t necessarily laugh at jokes because they’re funny – they laugh to show appreciation for the wit of the man they’re into. If you’re gifted with humour and she remains unresponsive, then it’s a sign that she’s trying not to encourage your interest.
4) Her face doesn’t light up when she sees you. This is something that is hard to fake: when a woman sees the man she likes, her eyebrows will raise and her eyes will light up with happiness at being in his presence. If she doesn’t seem overly happy to see you, then it’s a strong indication that she views you as a friend only.
5) She talks about other guys she’s into. Now this would have to be the strongest indicator of all: it shows that she’s picked up on the fact that you’re into her and she’s trying to let you know, as gently as possible, that you’re not the one for her. If a woman talks about other men in front of you then it’s a dead giveaway that you’ve entered friend territory.
Remember, dating is a numbers game: not every woman you meet will like you, and vice versa, that’s why you need to get out and meet as many women as possible, to up your chances of finding the right one. You can never convince someone through talking to be attracted to you; either they are or they aren’t. If you’ve spotted more than three of these signs, then take heart and move on – you’ll be glad you did, rather than wasting time thinking about one girl you’re never going to be with.
