How to be exciting
December 6th 2007 00:35
Women love excitement and drama, there’s no denying that. It’s what makes life fun, and makes for a good story to tell the girls later on. If you can be a source of excitement in a woman’s life, then you will have a much easier time of attracting her – if you’re exciting, she’ll be drawn to you.
So what, exactly, constitutes ‘exciting’? Being unpredictable is a good start. Make your conversations with her short and sharp, before you move on with haste to another group… whatever the social situation you find yourself and her in. Don’t chat on the phone with her for hours, she has her Mum for that. Talking too much on the phone with a woman puts you quickly in the friend zone. Also, your life should be full and interesting – whether you’re a surfer, musician or what have you, enjoy your hobbies to the fullest, and don’t drop everything when she calls – you need to be unavailable sometimes to be viewed as scarce. It’s basic economics, not to mention basic humanity. People always want what they can’t have. If you become a rarity in her eyes, she’ll respect you more, and chances are she’ll become the one trying to snag YOU. Which makes your job a lot easier.
Exciting hobbies and experiences make for great conversation, so if you’ve already got her attention then you’re set. When talking about something that you love doing, invite her along, or simply ask her out to dinner – women in 2007 still love that. Even if she declines, you’re better off knowing she’s not into you, rather than spending weeks or even months thinking about her. But chances are she’ll accept, then it’s up to you to create a fun evening for her with a spontaneous, unique feel to it. If you can manage this, she’ll let you know what her intentions are before too long.
The key concept here is just being yourself but a more exciting version. If you can be exciting, spontaneous and impossible for a woman to predict, then she will have no choice but to notice you. Women love drama, never forget that, and if you can use it to your advantage then so much the better.
