To speak to someone that you were interested in? Have you gone to great lengths in order to start a conversation?
I know I have. Today I was bodysurfing at my local beach, and I saw a hot surfer near where I was. He seemed to be giving me the eye (and so he should - Aussie chicks look great in bikinis) and I was checking him out also. I was so tempted to pull the "I'm scared, can you save me" line, but I thought it too great a lie considering I used to be a lifesaver at that very beach. Playing the damsel in distress just seemed too low for me...
As a result, we are yet to speak. I don't regret acting coy but I would have liked to have known his name, at least.
So I'm curious - how far have you gone in order to speak to someone? Would you pretend to be scared in the surf in order to get the number of a hot surfer? Let me know.
